RISE MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCE


How do children learn academics while playing? How do teachers teach academics through play?
Based on each level. Each level at Early Childhood has different objectives to be achieved. However the goal of Early Childhood itself ( 0- 8 years old) are 3 ( worldwide):

1. to build good self Regulation 
2. to build good self confidence 
3. to develop a problem solving skill 

Academics skill grow naturally and perfectly when a child during their golden period has achieved those 3 goals.

We provide education manipulatives, lesson plan and its activity intentionally (means we also insert academic in it as well). Utilize it with 3 best approaches (Positive guidance, scaffolding and balancing power) we believe children will grow as a “healthy” child with academic knowledge as a bonus.
What are the curriculum objectives other than confidence, self-regulatory and leadership? What are the tangible achievements we can show our parents?

What makes RISE MI different from other English learning center?
It’s a holistic child development program, covering the 5 areas

This helps students be able to communicate more confidently and become more capable learners.
Will my child able to follow the class even though he/she didn’t have any English language exposure?
With time, as we apply immersive English programme, they will eventually be able to follow in English. Of course, the speed of progress will depend on other supports as well.
What are the things that differentiate MI Class program from the RLP for children?
The difference lies in the enrichment (pengayaan) program. RLP offers RISE Global curriculum with additional art & craft activity and games with the purpose of enhancing their English language mastery. In Passionate Pioneers or otherwise known as MI program, our teaching is based on the development of Multiple Intelligences through the addition of some study corners that will specifically develop their Multiple Intelligence aspects according to each of their own characteristics. This program is aimed not only at English Language mastery, but also at holistic multiple intelligences development.

Do my children still need to join a Playgroup or Kindergarten if they already joined MI program?

Parents can have students to join other courses if they want their children to have proficiencies in other languages

Note: Most elementary schools do not ask about/ require TK certificate as the mandatory enrollment document.

Is there any certificate given after the completion of this program?

We give certificate of completion for 1 year participations, between 6 months and 1 year they will get progress report.

Is RISE a formal school?
RISE is a Language and Child development center for children for 2-8 years old
What is the different between RISE and Pre-School?
RISE is a non-formal educational institution. Our MI Program develops and prepares children for formal schooling.
Do we still need to take other pre schoolprogrammes after studying at RISE?
Our MI Program develops and prepares children for age appropriate schooling
Can Rise’ Certificates be accepted everywhere?
We give certificate of completion for students who attended RISE programmes for 6 months to 1 year. RISE is a globally recognized curriculum however it depends on the receiving institutions how they want to interpret the certificate. (Checking whether BINUS school can accept our certificate)
Are the teachers natives or locals?
Our teachers are trained and qualified to teach our program. We have both local and expat instructors
What learning methods are used at RISE?
RISE program focuses on maximizing children’s educational development between the ages of 2 – 8. We emphasized social activities and interactions, combined with advanced digital content, teaching methods, and learning materials.

Can RISE help children handle difficulties in learning English in school e.g homework?
Our objectives are to help students acquire a level of language acquisition and problem solving skills amongst others. This should overall help the student abilities in academic work.
